The Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Committee will soon host the annual State of the City. This event will be the first hosted by Colorado Springs’ new mayor, Yemi Mobolade.
Mayor Mobolade will speak at the event, reviewing his time in office so far, his plans for the city, and his immediate next steps as mayor. According to the event website, he is also expected to specifically discuss his plans to grow the local economy, enhance business development, and improve quality of life in the area. There will also be time to meet with the mayor and other local officials, giving Chamber members a chance to engage in important one-on-one conversations.
The event is being held on Thursday, September 14 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lunch will be served and there will be plenty of time for networking and questions. As such, Chamber members should bring their Business Cards, Promotional Products, and any other networking material.
Tickets are $85 for Chamber members and $100 for future members. The event is being held at the Broadmoor Hotel, which is at 1 Lake Avenue in Colorado Springs, and will specifically take place in the hotel’s International Center. Parking is free, and there is still time to sign up as a sponsor for the event via the Chamber’s website.
