The Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Council (MAC) will be hosting a Spring Hail and Farewell event.
The evening is designed to welcome new military members to the Colorado Springs community and say goodbye to those who are leaving the area.
The Colorado Springs area has multiple military bases. As such, the Military Affairs Council of the Chamber seeks to better integrate the local military members with the business community and the community at large. This event is meant to help fulfill this portion of the Council's mission.
In addition to honoring those who have served, this event will give Chamber members and the local business community the chance to network and better get to know each other. A 40-minute session has been explicitly set aside for networking at this event, so Chamber members and event attendees are encouraged to bring Business Cards and use the event to gain more business contacts.
The event is being held on Thursday, April 27, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It is being held at The Bar at Almagre, which is located at 2480 Montebello Square in Colorado Springs. There are three tiers of tickets – $20 for active members of the military and their guests; $35 for MAC members, government officials and their guests; and $45 for Chamber members and their guests.
