Cold-blooded event planned in Colorado Springs

An event is on the schedule for Colorado Springs that will have some people enthusiastic and others running the other way.

Cold Blooded Expos has organized the upcoming Colorado Reptile Show, which gives fans of the scaly creatures among us a chance to see thousands of their favorites including invertebrates, feeders, amphibians, and reptiles. In addition, attendees will have the chance to talk to breeders directly and ask any questions about keeping these animals. Many youngsters love reptiles, and parents are encouraged to bring their children to the event.

In addition to having various reptiles available, vendors will also have the supplies necessary to keep them health, including toys, bedding, tanks, cages, and decorative items.

Organizers of the event point out that they require their vendors to follow city, county, state, and federal laws regarding the products or animals they show or sell at Cold Blooded Expos’ events. Print shops can offer Signs to display at events like this.

The Reptile Show is scheduled for a full weekend, May 22 and 23, with tickets available in several categories. There is a Weekend Family package for two adults and four children from the ages of five to ten years for both days, and there is a similar Family Package for Saturday or Sunday. There are also tickets available in three categories – adult, children, and kids - on both days (“Children” are classed as ages five to ten, while “kids” are four or younger). The venue is the Colorado Springs Event Center on Palmer Park Boulevard.
