Centennial schedules activity for older adults

An event on the way to Centennial will soon serve as a clearing house of information and resources for the community’s older adults.

Advanced registration is required to attend the Older Adult Resource Fair coming up at the Koelbel Library. It will follow an open-house format, and it will begin in mid-morning.

The function will bring together a wide assortment of community service groups from the local area that offer services and resources to older adults. There will be librarians who specialize in the demographic on hand to meet, and everyone can explore the various programs and events the venue offers. Light refreshments will be provided, and topics ranging from aging to overall health and wellness will be on the agenda. The activity will run for two and half hours.

Community resource fairs and similar occasions are often designed so the attendees can gather a lot of information all under one roof. Organizations that take part in these types of events often choose to keep a supply of Promotional Products and Business Cards on hand so they will be ready for marketing opportunities as they arise.

The Older Adult Resource Fair will help Centennial's seniors live their best lives on Friday, October 30. It will run from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm, and the Arapahoe Libraries website includes a link to register.
