Toy Drive to be held in Simi Valley

A toy collection drive is set to be held in Simi Valley this December.

The event, titled the Candy Cane Toy Drive, is a collection and gift-giving initiative by the ‘For the Need’ Foundation. It allows residents to contribute to the welfare of children within the community by helping to spread Christmas cheer.

The range of toys that can be contributed varies, and patrons are welcome to stop by to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and coffee.

It will also provide optimal opportunities for children in tow to meet with Santa on-site. Children may share their Christmas wishes with Mr. Claus, take photos as memorabilia, and participate in many more festive activities. In addition, there will be holiday music to sing along to.

The ‘For the Need’ Foundation is an organization that specializes in providing aid to youth facing problems such as homelessness, abuse, and poverty. They equip them with life skills such as communication, team-building, ethics, and financial literacy. They also host an annual fundraiser for children with dire illnesses alongside various corporate partners.

Those interested in participating are free to attend with a toy donation. Banner printing can help to raise awareness of charitable events like this.

This event takes place on December 3 at Coyote Hills Park, located at 275 Valley Gate Road, Simi Valley, California. It is scheduled to begin at 9am, ending at noon.
