Simi Valley residents who are fans of classical guitar music have begun clearing their schedules for a live concert taking place in April. This rather intimate event will showcase the talents of two well-known artists, and tickets are likely to sell out in advance.
Simi Valley will be hosting Bill Arey and Ron Borczon. These musicians have touring since as far back as 1981, and their duets have received rave reviews over the years. This is also considered to be a reunion concert, as the duo is expected to play plenty of their most well-known songs. Many of these are associated with the album "Twelve Strings: Transcriptions for Two Guitars" that was released in 1988. This playlist can be found on YouTube for those who are interested.
Ron Borzcon boasts two degrees in music from Florida s State University, and Bill Arey is currently a Professor Emeritus of Music at California State University. He previously taught this college for over 40 years.
Classical music concerts will frequently leverage traditional marketing methods to connect with a specific demographic. Some techniques include flyer printing, creating playbills, and securing time on local radio stations.
Bill Arey and Ron Borzcon will be returning to Simi Valley on Sunday, April 26th. The concert is scheduled to commence at 7 PM. This exhibition is being hosted by the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center located at 3050 Los Angeles Avenue. Tickets cost $22 for adults, and $17 dollars for students.
