Simi Valley to celebrate German heritage

October is just around the corner, and the residents of Simi Valley are already beginning to prepare for what the autumn will usher in. Oktoberfest 2025 is one of the most popular events, and similar to past festivals, a wide audience is expected to attend.

Billed as the largest one-day Oktoberfest in California, this celebration provides attendees with a means to mingle, to sample a variety of German foods, to enjoy locally brewed beers, and to experience live music. The Simi Valley Oktoberfest is also unique due to the fact that an on-site beer tent is available to everyone over the age of 21.

This year's Oktoberfest is set to feature Hammerstein Musik Bavaria; a group known for its ability to play a variety of music. Examples include polka, operetta, tango, and even a handful of rock classics.

While beer may be the main attraction here, traditional German foods abound. Soft pretzels, bratwurst, sauerkraut, and a kaleidoscope of tasty desserts should keep guests coming back for seconds.

Organizers will often spread the word about what is in store through various techniques. For instance, local businesses may provide details on Stationery containing branded Letterheads. Banner advertising, flyer distribution, and social media posts are additional examples.

Oktoberfest 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th. Doors open at 11 AM, and festivities will last until 6PM. This year's festival is being hosted at Rancho Tapo Community Park located at 3700 Avenida Simi, 93063. General admission tickets cost $28.52, although prices may be subject to change.
