Simi Valley sets date for Oktoberfest fun

Simi Valley will soon be showing its German side when it rolls out the red carpet for the attendees at its annual Oktoberfest gathering.

The festivities, which will be filled with German food, music, beer and more, have been planned for Lemon Park. It will be restricted to those age 21 and up, and IDs will be checked at the gate.

The ticket holders for the celebration will be able to fill their steins with the domestic and German beers that will be on tap, and live music and other entertainment will take the stage. Traditional Oktoberfest food and desserts will be on the menu, and free parking, food trucks, contests and prize draws have also been organized for the day.

The function is being brought to the community thanks to the efforts of the Rotary Club’s Simi Sunrise Chapter, and all of the proceeds will be used to support its charitable projects. Beer steins and other drinkware printed with a specially prepared graphic design and other corporate gifts to present the sponsors and supporters of an event can be obtained from area print professionals.

This Oktoberfest gathering will be bringing the fun to Simi Valley on October 5th. The festivities will run from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Tickets for the festival start at $55.20, and both VIP and designated driver passes are also available.
