Top guitarist brings blues to San Jose

A man acknowledged as one of the best blues guitarists is coming to San Jose.

Joe Bonamassa is celebrated for the enthusiasm he brings to his live shows, which are treats for fans worldwide. Guitar World magazine called him:

“. . . the world’s biggest blues guitarist . . .”

and credits him with redefining the genre of blues-rock music, and making it a mainstream genre.

Joe Bonamassa is a native of New Hartford, New York, who was only four when he began playing the guitar. His father loved the music of British artists Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton, and as a result, his influences were from Britain, not America.

By the time he was twelve, he had his own band, Smokin’ Joe Bonamassa. They gigged throughout Pennsylvania and New York, and Bonamassa opened for the one and only B.B. King when Bonamassa was 12.

Bonamassa has a huge body of work including 16 studio albums, 20 live albums, and 50 singles, and has received three Grammy nominations. A review says:

“I was beholding a true artist who continues to prove he’s worth [sic] of etching his name in history alongside any other of the blues legends who preceded him.”

Joe Bonamassa will be at the San Jose Civil on November 7, backed by a group of legendary artists. The venue is as 135 West San Carlos Street. To advertise events like this, organizers often work with a printer, who uses poster printing to create advertisements.
