The San Jose California Theatre is planning to host a concert devoted to reproducing some of the most memorable pieces of classical music associated with the romantic period. Dubbed "Hopelessly Romantic," this event is slated to take place in late January.
The Hopelessly Romantic series is dedicated to paying tribute to the romantic greats of the late 19th century. This concert will feature works by Jean Sibelius, Franz Schubert, and Robert Schumann. Pieces include Overture to Rosamunde, and Schumann’s 4th Symphony. Pianist Geneva Lewis will be interpreting these songs alongside the artists of Symphony San Jose conducted by Francois Lopez-Ferrer.
Organizers claim that this performance should particularly appeal to fans of Schumann, as the 4th Symphony is considered to represent one of his most personal compositions.
Promoters of classical music concerts will normally depend on tried-and-tested advertising techniques. Some proven approaches include flyer printing, producing playbills that can be handed out on the day of the event, and placing Posters in artistic venues.
The 2026 San Jose Hopelessly Romantic concert is being hosted at the California Theatre located at 345 South First Street on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25. The Saturday concert begins at 7:30 PM, and the Sunday performance will commence at 2:30 PM. Ticket prices begin at $24 per person, although these fees are subject to change.
