Redondo Beach crawfish boil to offer taste of Louisiana

The LSU SoCal Alumni Association will present A Louisiana Crawfish Boil in Redondo Beach this April to bring the flavors of Louisiana to the beaches of SoCal.

For 36 years, the Annual Louisiana Crawfish Boil has provided an opportunity for LSU alumni to bring a bit of Louisiana flair to their sunny Southern California community. The LSU SoCal is the Southern California’s chapter of the overarching LSU Alumni Association, and allows LSU graduates the chance to showcase their LSU roots in SoCal and participate in volunteer projects and activities in the SoCal community.

The crawfish boil will feature a variety of authentic Louisiana cuisine, including tasty crawfish, corn dishes, andouille sausages, hush puppies, mashed potatoes, and blooming onions. There will also be refreshing beverages such as soda and beer. Children aged 12 and under get free admission, and hot dogs will be available for them. Alternatively, parents can bring their own snacks from home.

Food festivals such as this may be advertised in Flyers, which can be printed at local Print shops offering flyer printing services and then distributed in the community by event organizers.

The crawfish boil will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will take place at Seaside Lagoon, which is located at 200 Portofino Way. General admission is $95.
