Local drive-in to host family night

The Roadium Drive-In has opened its doors to showcase a special movie event every month for the fall and winter months.

In November, Redondo Beach families will get to enjoy the movie Ratatouille, which will show for one night only.

Located in a 15-acre open air market, the Roadium is a 1950s, retro-styled outdoor theater located on West Redondo Beach Boulevard. Families attending the Ratatouille showing will be able to enjoy a unique movie experience from the comfort of their own cars. COVID-19 health guidelines will be in place, so moviegoers are asked to stay in their vehicles and wear a mask if they are sitting in flatbed trucks. There will also be hot food and concessions available for purchase from the drive-in's recently renovated snack bar.

The movie is slated for Saturday, November 14. Gates open at 6:00 pm, and the movie begins around sundown. After 7:15 pm, no one will be allowed entry. Tickets are $25 per vehicle and are available for presale at Eventbrite.com or at the box office the night of the showing. A 20% discount will be offered to military and healthcare workers with proof of ID when purchasing tickets at the box office only.

Organizers of such events often turn to businesses offering poster printing to help visually promote event specifics and location.
