Interested parties can join the South Bay Bicycle Coalition and Beach Cities Cycling Club for a fundraising bike ride along several local beaches. The final destination for this fundraiser will be the Blue Water Grill Seafood Restaurant in Redondo Beach.
Participants will enjoy the views of three beach cities: Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. The event is being held to raise funds for South Bay Bike Education and Safe Cycling Initiatives. The groups were formed by area residents who wanted to take a love of the sport and reduce or even eliminate the number of accidents for cyclists and pedestrians.
Raising awareness of such causes is often enhanced with the use of printing services, including poster printing, to advertise not only the fundraising events but the missions of those organizing them. This group has educated just under 8,000 students with programs teaching bike safety. Efforts have also taken place to create a Bike Traffic School and obtain and additional 40 miles of bike routes by working directly with city leaders.
At the completion of the ride, participants can join their friends at the Blue Water Grill Seafood Restaurant for an evening of food, drinks and music.
The event will take place on Sunday, March 24th from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm. Registration is through the Eventbrite website and registration fees is $80 until March 17th when the price will increase to $100. Bike rentals are available and free for this fundraiser.
