Special food event lined up in Newport Beach

Foodies in Newport Beach have an event coming up soon they’re sure to enjoy.

The Balboa Village Merchant Association and Orange Coast Magazine are teaming up to present the 2023 Balboa Craft Beer Festival. People joining in the fun will have a chance to sample food, wine, seltzers, and a variety of craft beers. In addition to food and drink, games and live music are also planned. There will be drawings to win gift cards, bikes, other prizes, and local experiences as well.

Although this year’s participants are still being finalized, a look at some of last year’s vendors gives an idea of what to expect. Among them were La Brea Bread, Balboa Lily’s, Cowafornia, Chronic Tacos, Elephant Craft Hard Seltzer, Radiant Beer, and Helmsman Ale House.

Tickets include admission to the Beerfest, as well as unlimited tastings from food, wine, seltzer, and beer vendors while supplies last. Designated Driver tickets are available.

The Balboa Beerfest 2023 is 12:00pm until 4:00pm on Saturday, November 4, on Newport Beach’s Balboa Peninsula. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and over, and pets are not allowed. IDs are required, and will be checked.

General admission tickets are $75 until October 28, $85 until November 4, and $95 if purchased on the day of the festival. No refunds will be given, but tickets can be transferred. Organizers of events like this can make them more fun for attendees by using flyer printing to create a list of vendors.
