Newport Beach-based Good Sounds, a company specializing in home automation and home theater installation, recently announced that its latest project of a new, custom, two-story home that overlooks the harbor has been completed.
Features such as security, lighting, and audio have been integrated so they can be controlled from an iPad or iPhone.
The first level has a complete home theater system that includes a video projector, and provides five zones of high-definition video and twelve zones of audio distributed throughout the home. There is a high-definition security camera system that surveys the entire property, and the homeowners can view recordings from the system on their Apple devices or home TVs.
The entry portico, side pedestrian gates, and front door are controlled by communication and door release systems, and water features in the entry courtyard and on the patio can also be turned on and off from the Apple devices.
Owner of Good Sounds, Mitch Goodz, said both he and the homeowners are pleased with the outcome of the project, and that it functions as they had hoped. The home is fully integrated and can easily be controlled from homeowners’ iPads and iPhones, he added.
Companies might benefit from printing Brochures about their customized fully customized systems for the home, especially in a digitally savvy area like Newport Beach.
