TomatoMania, the largest tomato plant sale will return to Roger’s Gardens for its 14th year. Scott Daigre along with his team is leading it.
Scott Daigre is a horticulture expert and garden designer who grew up in Louisiana before relocating to pursue a profession in landscaping. He has led international garden tours, spoken at industry events, and designed outdoor spaces across California through his business known as Powerplant Garden Design.
The TomatoMania will feature over 250 hybrid and heirloom tomato varieties, including new releases for 2025. The event is a seasonal lineup of pop-up sales specializing in tomato plants. The event has expanded to 30 cities and five states.
This year’s featured variety, ‘Persuasion,’ was developed by Brad Gates from Wild Boar Farms. The tomato has a pink base with peach and gold striping and an antho-blue shoulder. It offers a sweet balanced flavor and will be available exclusively at Roger’s Gardens.
During the event, attendees can make contact with other gardeners and participate in live-streamed sessions featuring expert advice. Pre-orders are currently available through Sunday, February 23.
Attendees can receive information on aspects such as tomato growing tips, recipes, and terminology through the event listing.

TomatoMania runs from Friday, February 28th through Sunday, March 9th from 9 am to 6 pm each day. The location will be Roger’s Gardens, 2301 San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Beach, California.
