A women’s networking event is coming up in Newport Beach in what are surely the most luxurious surroundings possible.
Co-Network Women is the organizers of the upcoming “An Evening at Ferrari,” an invitation-only event for professionals and businesswomen that will be capped at 50 attendees. They will be able to network while they enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks amid the exotic cars in the Ferrari showroom.
They will have a chance to meet and listen to Jamei June, who drives Ferrari race cars, and relive her experiences as she makes her way in what is still a field dominated by male drivers. A Ferrari experience lasting a full day will be the grand prize for one lucky person.
June is the founder of the “Beauty and Keys” car club, which she started because she believes driving and looking feminine should not be mutually exclusive. She combined her love of cosmetics with her love of cars to give women a chance to get into the driver’s seat—literally. Among the activities the club enjoys are SUV drives in winter, as well as Ferrari drives.
