Newport Beach enters world of cars and trucks

The two-day Newport Beach Classic Car and Truck Festival will take place in Newport Beach, with Balboa Village Merchants Association and The City of Newport Beach organizing it.

This festival is backed by activities such as classic car shows, costume contests, a kids’ area, and motorcycle and truck shows. Participants can also look forward to music, food, beverages, and craft vendors. The event will be Halloween-themed as it will take place the weekend prior to the spooky holiday.

The event will be hosted in an open space, allowing participants to see a variety of cars, shop, and also have a glimpse of Balboa village. Also featured will be a beer garden and car exhibition from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the second day of the event.

This year's festival will include a gift drive called "Toys for Watts," which helps the children of Watts, Los Angeles, over the holidays. Toy collection areas will be present at the event. All profits made from the event will go towards a charitable cause.

The festival is scheduled for October 25 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and October 26 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will kick off at 1 Balboa Pier #1, Newport Beach.
