An upcoming event in Newport Beach will give people working with a company or a start-up in the medtech and biotech industries a chance to meet with industry professionals.
MIX is presenting MedTech Minds, an evening of brainstorming and peer-to-peer mentoring, as well as a Q&A session. Those working in the growing field of medical technology are encouraged to attend. Organizers point out the event is interactive, so participants are encouraged to ask questions about their career, their start-up, or the medtech industry when they buy their ticket. If their question is chosen as one of the six to be used in the brainstorming session, the purchaser will receive a full refund and be admitted to the event free of charge.
The schedule for the evening starts with a Meet and Mingle from 5:15 pm until 5:45 pm, followed by introductions from 5:45 pm until 6:30 pm. The First Round of Mastermind will be from 6:30 pm until 7:00 pm, followed by a ten-minute break. The Second Round of Mastermind is scheduled from 7:10 pm until 7:35 pm, and from 7:35 pm until 7:50 pm, there will be a Startup Rapid Pitch or Brag Box opportunity. The final network session is from 7:50 pm until 8:00 pm. The Mastermind rounds allow participants to discuss a problem or issue and get advice from experts.
