Morgan Hill tourney to raise funds for service dogs

Service dogs can be a lifeline for veterans, children, first responders, and those living with a disability. In Morgan Hill, an upcoming golf tournament is set to help train more of these important animals.

Coyote Creek Golf Course, which was designed by legend of the sport Jack Nicklaus, has been the venue chosen for the 2024 OFP Charity Golf Tournament and Awards luncheon. It will be raising funds for Operation Freedom Paws (OFP), and the players will be treated to 18 holes of fun in the sun.

The day will open with a light breakfast before the registrants take to the greens, and the scramble-style tourney will open with a shotgun start. Refreshments will be served, and everyone can test their skills in a variety of contests. A silent auction and raffle draws will take place, and everyone can choose their favorite fare during the buffet lunch.

A golf tournament or other fundraiser can be helpful in increasing awareness of a cause in a way that may also be highly enjoyable. A poster printing company can prepare display-size materials that show how the support of the attendees will be making an impact.

The 13th annual OFP annual Charity Golf Tournament and Awards Luncheon will begin at 8:30 am on Friday, May 10. Tickets are $200 each, and they may be purchased through the Morgan Hill Times website.
