An event that will put the “fun” in fungi is on the way for Morgan Hill, and it will boast two days of fun for the whole family.
The annual Mushroom Mardi Gras, which honors the humble culinary mushroom, will give the community multiple ways to celebrate. Everyone who attends the festivities is invited to stop by the Mushroom Educational Display, which will be sponsored by the Western Mushroom Marketing Association, and there is lots more to see and do on the agenda.
Visitors at the festival will be able to watch cooking demonstrations and enjoy samples of beef and mushroom meatballs. Promotional Products such as cloth Totes Bags will be distributed for as long as supplies last, and freshly harvested mushrooms will be available for purchase. Food vendors will be on site, and live entertainment, a children’s area , rides, and wine tastings are just a sample of the other fun to be had.
Themed festivals can bring a community together and celebrate its cultural history. Banner printing and other event planning services will be available at a local printer, which will be able to work with a variety of budget levels.
The 2022 Mushroom Mardi Gras will see Morgan Hill celebrate on May 28 and 29. The fun will be taking place at the Community Cultural Center which can be found at 17000 Monterey Road.
