Next year, Morgan Hill is set to attract lovers of fungi for a two-day celebration of the humble mushroom.
The city has made plans for the return of Mushroom Mardi Gras, which will be held in the spring. It serves as a showcase of fungi culture, and many of the activities will be taking place at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center.
This will be the festival's 41st year, and both days will be filled with entertainment supplied by a variety of local performers. A pop-up craft and makers’ market is on the agenda, and foodies can head to the food service area where they will be able to treat themselves to an assortment of mushroom-based dishes. A wine and beer garden, mushroom expo, cooking demos, and a commercial vendor alley will also be on offer, along with a special zone just for the kids.
