A lazy summer day can be tailor made for relaxing with a good book, and the Morgan Hill Library has organized a program that will encourage everyone to enjoy this activity.
The venue will be welcoming community members for what will be a combination of a summer reading event and a community emergency preparedness resource fair. Anyone who needs any special accommodation such as an ASL interpreter is asked to contact the organizers at least seven days in advance.
The two-hour activity will be filled with booths and displays that provide information and resources that may be helpful when it comes to preparing for emergencies. These include fires, water management, and also general home safety. The public can meet experts in the field, gather Promotional Products, and learn how they can ensure they are ready to take action should a disaster occur.
Along with hosting the fair, the library will be rolling out its Summer Reading Program for 2025. The theme is “Level Up at Your Library,” and there will be offerings for all ages, including adults. Prizes will be presented to those who complete the challenges prepared.
Morgan Hill Library, which is located at 660 West Main Avenue, will be holding its Summer Reading Kick Off and emergency preparedness resource fair on Saturday, June 7. It will start at 10:00 am.
