Morgan Hill families have safe trick-or-treat alternative

The upcoming Safe Trick or Treat community event gives parents and children a single destination where they can get their Halloween treats without any worry.

The City of Morgan Hill has teamed up with the Morgan Hill Downtown Association and the Mt. Madonna YMCA to sponsor and organize a fun Halloween night event. Children and parents can attend the event free of charge. Safe Trick or Treat makes it easy for parents to have a worry-free evening that includes much less walking, while their kids can still fill their treat Bags and show off their costumes.

Any type of organization or business that would like to take part in the event is welcome to register before October 31st. Each group can set up their own booth and pass out candy in the designated downtown area. Contributing companies can hand out candy, promotional Pens and Pencils and treat Bags suitable for all ages.

Any interested organizations should pre-register with the Chamber of Commerce at the event link. All rules for the event are explained during registration. There is no charge to set up a booth and no fee to attend the event. Any questions should be directed to Brittney Sherman at (408) 779-9444.

Safe Trick or Treat will take place on October 31 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM between Dunn and Main Avenues in Morgan Hill.
