Morgan Hill class to share art of charcuteries

Charcuterie boards have become de rigueur for many types of parties and other social occasions, and a workshop on the way for Morgan Hill will be preparing these selections of bites with a special spooky twist.

The class, which will be hands-on, will teach the art of transforming meats, cheese and other ingredients into an attractive edible arrangement. Instead of the typical cutting board, each attendee will be issued a “coffin board”, and all on the components will also be provided.

The facilitator will teach how to use the supplies, which will include seasonal fruits and especially selected spooky treats to go with the meat and cheeses, and everyone will also receive a pint of cider to sip on. They can choose whichever flavor they like, and they can take their charcuterie home with them. They can choose to use it as the centerpiece for a Halloween party or keep it all for themselves ,and tickets are $85.00 each.

Working with food can be fun for those who register for a culinary workshop. Recipe cards, suggested shopping lists, “cheat sheets” of food preparation tips and other printed items for a cookery session can be prepared by Stationery printers.

This spooky introduction to the art of charcuterie will begin at 6;00 pm on October 5th. TenFiveOne Cider Co. will be hosting the event, and its address is 17635 Hill Road.
