Constructing a book using handmade paper and other materials can be a fun crafting project, and a Morgan Hill establishment will offer the opportunity to do it.
Early March will see Cura Contemporary introduce the fundamentals of paper making and bookbinding with a workshop. It will include the use of Geli printing plates, and all materials for the activity will be provided to the registrants.
The participants will be invited to use the acrylic paints and other materials supplied to create custom papers, and once they are ready, they will be compiled into a book that may be used as a journal, sketchpad, or notebook. This will utilize a needle and thread, and an early bird ticket price will be available to those who register before February 25. The class is intended for those age 18 and up, and it is suitable for the beginner.
