Morgan Hill will be getting its holiday celebration off to a flying start with a special procession that will light up the night.
The community will soon be holding its annual Holiday Rights Parade, and anyone who would like the fun is able to register up until November 25. Both commercial and not-for-profit groups are welcome to make an entry, and staging will take place before the participants hit the streets of the city.
The Morgan Hill chapter of the Kiwanis Club will be the organizer of the parade, and it has released a set of rules for anyone who is interested in being part of the fun. The registration fee that will be charged depends on the type of entry and who is making it, and marching bands, floats, decorated vehicles, and mobile light displays are all welcome. It was requested that Santa not be included in any of the submissions, as he will be taking pride of place as the event’s emcee and will be on the last float.
Parades and other community events may benefit from the services of a printing professional. It will be able to offer a range of banner printing and other services at a price that may to suit any budget.
The annual Morgan Hill Kiwanis Holiday Light Parade will begin at 5:30 pm on December 3. The route it will follow and other details are available online.
