Skating to return to Burbank for another holiday season

This winter, Burbank will once again be bringing some Northern fun to California.

The city’s downtown rink will be open for another holiday season for skating, fundraisers and other special events. The month will kick off with the grand opening day, with all day skating for only $10 each, and free skate rental for residents of Burbank.

Throughout the time that the rink is open, there will be fundraising events such as the Burbank Community YMCA Day of Fundraising, and there will also be a day set aside where the public is invited to come out and learn how to curl. Times have been scheduled for skating lessons, and both adult and children’s sessions will be held.

The Burbank Rink will be ready for skaters with its opening day celebrations on December 15, and it will remain open until January 8. The regular admission fee is $10, and both skate and Bobby the Seal Skating Aids can be rented by anyone who does not have their own. It will be open each day from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on weekdays and 11:30 pm on weekends. Mailing services can be utilized to send out announcements that a facility like this will be ready for the public to use.

Anyone who would like to find out more about the schedule of activities that will be held at the rink can do so on Downtown Burbank’s website.
