Burbank set to host stage lighting seminar

A local lighting company has announced that it will be offering a training course focusing on the intricacies of stage lighting. This seminar is intended to cover a handful of practical topics, and it is primarily suited for those who already possess some experience.

ChamSys MagicQ training consists of a two-day course designed for those who wish to obtain their Level 1 certification. This session will cover fundamentals including console layouts, how to use dimmers, editing cue stacks, special effects, file MagicQ file management, theater programming, pixel mapping, and efficiently managing workflows.

MagicQ has come to represent one of the most commonly used stage lighting software bundles. As it is also free to use, it is extremely attractive to technicians hoping leverage the latest stage lighting techniques. Each console will be shared by two trainees during the scheduled sessions.

Events associated with specialized themes will use equally discrete marketing techniques to engage with the intended audience. Some practical solutions include working with Stationery printers when producing Flyers, providing Brochures highlighting the exact itineraries, and placing pamphlets within tech-oriented venues.

This upcoming ChamSys MagicQ training session is being held on Tuesday, November 10th and Wednesday, November 11th. Doors open at 10 AM, and close at 5 PM on both days. This seminar will be hosted by Lightscape Lighting & Equipment located at 2844 North Hollywood Way. Tickets are priced at $150 per attendee.
