Burbank has planned a special activity for this fall that will bring the community together to enjoy a movie under the stars.
The picture that has been selected for screening is ‘A League of Their Own’, which has been rated at PG-13. Before the curtain goes up for the evening, there will be a live performance by Beat Mosaic that will no doubt have the crowd on its feet.
Along with the movie and music, guests at the event will be able to choose a meal from the assortment of food trucks that will be on site for the occasion. Ticketholders are welcome to bring along blankets and pillows so they can watch the show in comfort, and a special area will be set up for lawn and camp-style chairs to be set up. Public transportation can be utilized to get to and from the location, and both free and metered parking is available as well.
Tickets for this evening of outdoor fun start at $14 each for adults, and reduced priced ones are available for children. Print shops can prepare an assortment of marketing materials than can help to ensure that an occasion like this is well attended by members of the local community.
The North Hollywood Recreation Center will be the location for this special event. It will be held on September 15, starting at 5:00 pm.
