A feline-themed celebration has been planned for the cat lovers in Burbank and the nearby community.
Held in Pasadena, it will be two days of presentations, meet and greets, celebrity guests, and other fun, and the hope is that some of the attendees will be going home with a new furry member of the family.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of ‘CatCon’ and Burbank residents are welcome to be among the crowd of attendees. There will be more than 200 vendor booths to browse and buy through, and guests can expect to find a wide assortment of other activities as well.
A group of feline-friendly celebrities will be on hand for the occasion, and photo booths, cat cosplay and the CatCon Adoption Lounge will be open for visitors. Here, attendees can meet some local cats that are looking for a loving “fur-ever” home, and with some luck, they may catch the eye of their future family.
The schedule for this two days also includes a variety of seminars and workshops, and those who attend will have a chance to meet their cat-loving neighbors. A portion of the registration fee for the celebrity meet and greets will be donated to animal-related charities in the area.
