The public is invited to visit downtown Burbank to experience the latest the local artistic community has to offer.
The Downtown Burbank Arts Festival will feature street painters, special effects artists, and more than 100 photographers, painters, and sculptors, all of whom will have their works on display throughout four blocks between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno Avenue.
Each year, the event draws crowds that number in the thousands. There is no cost to attend, and there will be live music, workshops, and other activities scheduled throughout the festival.
Animation fans will be able to browse through an entire city block of artwork produced by visual effects artists and animators who have worked on different films, video games, and TV productions. They will also be on hand to interact with their fans. Select items will be available for purchase.
Those who want to do some shopping will be able to wander their way through the offerings of 90 local artists who will be selling everything from jewelry to ceramics, paintings, sculpture, and woodworking. Decorative Banners can be hung throughout the area during events like this.
The festival is organized through the cooperative efforts of The Downtown Burbank partnership and West Coast Artists, and has been running since 2003. It is set to take place On April 19 and 20. More information is available on the Burbank Arts Festival Website.
