Community service expo planned for Burbank single-parent families

An event has been put together for the Burbank area that will connect single parents with the range of community resources that may interest them.

The Hands4Hope Annual Single Parent Resource Fair will bring together a variety of social service agencies who will be sharing information about the types of assistance they supply to the public. There will be details provided about how to get a better job, going back to school, how to access crisis services in an emergency, how people can start their own small business, and working on a credit score or insurance policy. Fathers or mothers can bring their children and friends, and enjoy lunch while they network with and get to know other single parents.

The fair is being hosted by Hands4Hope, which is a group that seeks to provide the best possible future for youth by providing them and their families with support and services.
