Carlsbad area event to please local car lovers

Carlsbad and the surrounding communities are revving up for a show that will give vehicle buffs a chance to show off their pride and joy.

Those who attend the 8th annual South “O” Car, Boat and Bike Show will be able to stroll through a wide variety of vehicles, and many of the owners will be on hand to meet as well. All ages can enjoy the event, and there will be lots going on to keep the whole family happy.

Admission to the function, which is a presentation of South “O” Elementary’s PTA, is by donation, and the suggested amount is $5. The fee to register a car, truck, bike or boat is $25, and this is just the start of what will be on offer. A variety of local vendors will be setting up shop for the day, and there will also be entertainment, food, and other fun.
