A Burbank workshop will explore the options currently available to deal with hip, knee, and other joint pain issues, helping those who are planning for joint replacement surgery to keep themselves informed on their options.
This free event will discuss the options available when it comes to joint pain, a common issue especially among the elderly, and the focus will be on replacement surgery. The participants will learn how they can make sure they are fully prepared for this type of operation, and it can help to relive any anxiety they may be feeling.
The group will discuss steps they can take to ensure they are ready for their operation, and pain management will be included. The attendees will find out how they can take a proactive role in their recovery, and the importance of physical therapy and support at home will be reviewed as well.
While there is no charge to be a part of the class, registration is mandatory. A brochure printing company can prepare pamphlets, leaflets and other learning materials that make a good fit for this sort of function.
Burbank’s Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center has made plans to host this workshop on July 13. Scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm, those who need further details have been asked to call 1.888.432.5464.
