While the 1980s may be well in the rear view mirror, those who want to celebrate their salad days with a group of other revelers may find that an upcoming Burbank event will be just what they have been looking for.
Those who purchases passes for the ‘80s Prom are invited to dust off their neon, pull up their legwarmers, and dig their acid washed jeans from the back of their closet and be part of the audience for an experience that will bring that decade back, if only for one evening. It will be a high-energy celebration with lots of music, dancing and other fun, and to many, the best part may be being able to rock out with a group of others who are having just as much fun as they are.
During the festivities, both live and video performances will keep the crowd on their feet, and photo booths will be available so that the guests can catch some pictures of their best ‘80s attire. Print shops can use wide format techniques to print customized backdrops that can be used in the photo booths often included in this type of event.
The Fonda Theatre has scheduled this celebration of the not so distant past for February 15. It can be found at 6126 Hollywood Boulevard, and tickets are priced at $35.
