A Burbank area organization that believes collective small actions can lead to big changes will be celebrating 82 years of helping others, and everyone from the local area is on the guestlist.
The All People Community Center works to fill holes in the social safety net, meeting the needs of communities that tend to be underserved. Its signature fundraising gala will have the theme of “Sowing the Seeds of Change”, and it will provide opportunities for members of the public to learn how their support is making an impact.
The event will take place in mid-September at the Sheraton Grand DTLA. Guests will be treated to dinner as well as a program that includes an awards ceremony. They can bid on the items and experiences in the silent auction, and their financial support will help over 6,600 residents of the community.
Individual tickets for the gathering are $150 each, and there are other ways to get involved as well. Local companies can choose to serve as sponsors or community partners, and spaces in the program book are also available at the time of writing. The All Peoples Gala will be welcoming attendees on Monday, September 9. The doors will open at 6:00 pm, and sponsorships, program space reservations, and individual tickets can all be purchased through its online listing.
