A Burbank event will give turkey lovers a chance to burn off some calories, and since it will be a virtual event, the runners can hit the road wherever they might happen to be.
The Burbank Community YMCA has planned its Turkey Trot, and those who are interested can choose to walk, run, or roll their way along the route of their choice. The participants can run in their own neighborhood or pick another spot, and they are encouraged to keep up the tradition by doing their run or walk on Thanksgiving morning.
Those who choose to do the race on the suggested date are advised that they day will kick off early with a warmup and singing of the National Anthem at 7:00 am. Each registrant will receive a tech shirt with the fundraiser’s Logo Design, and finisher’s medals will also be distributed.
