While musician and singer Ronnie James Dio may no longer be here, a foundation started in his name that takes aim at cancer is still raising funds, and will be the recipient of the monies raised during the annual Bowl for Ronnie event.
This active Burbank area fundraiser, which will take place at Pinz Bowling Center at 12655 Ventura Avenue, has opened its registration system. Just as in previous years, it will provide its ticketholders with an opportunity to meet and rub shoulders with rock and roll celebrities.
Those interested in signing up for the evening can do so as a corporate team. The fee to register is $2,669.52, which also covers all taxes and fees. It will include the use of a private lane for six bowlers, and this option is open to groups of colleagues or friends. Trophies will be presented, and each participant will receive two drink tickets as well pizza, shoe rental, and access to a VIP/Artist Lounge.
Along with the rest of the perks, the corporate team will be able to have their Logo Design displayed prominently at their lane. Six “Bowl for Ronnie” T-Shirts are included in the package as well.
This evening of bowling for a cause will hit the lanes on Thursday, November 14th. It will run from 6:30 pm until 11:00 pm.
