Burbank gathering to spark conversation

It is said that nothing in life is certain but death and taxes, and a Burbank gathering will explore one side of the equation.

Those who are age 21 and up are invited to be part of a local evening activity that will explore death in a way that is intended to spark conversation and create connections. Its organizers describe it as being “nerd-centric,” and it will be held at 3516 West Victory Boulevard.

Those who attend the session will be invited to join in the discussion and explore their own feelings on the subject of mortality. There will be trivia games as well as conversation prompts.

While the focus of the function may be centered on death, it is not intended to be a sad occasion. There will be plenty of laughter, and everyone can purchase snacks and drinks should they wish to do so.

One of the jobs often undertaken by an event organizer is promoting the function to the larger community. A poster printing company will be happy to help by supplying an assortment of options for marketing materials.

The adults-only Death Positive Game Night will begin at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11. Everyone who is interested is welcome to reserve their seat online via its Eventbrite listing, and there is no charge being applied to do so.
