Burbank families offered literacy building series

The Burbank Central Library offers a variety of services and programming, and this fall, it will be welcoming youngsters for a series of literacy building events that are free to attend.

The Fall Story Time intuitive has been designed to help encourage kids to develop a love of reading and its intended age group is children from babies up to age five. It will take place outdoors, and dates have been planned from September through November.

Advance registration is not required for the series, and the facilitator will encourage everyone to participate. The kids will sing songs and rhymes with plenty of other silly fun on the agenda, so parents and caregivers may leave with a smile on their face too. The grown-ups will discover ways they can promote literacy in their own family

A poster printing company will be able to help make sure all local families know that events like these are on offer for them. The materials prepared may be placed in prominent public locations, and the printer’s graphic design team will even be happy to lend their talents to the process as well.

The Burbank Central Library will be running its Fall Story Time program from September 24 until November 12. Anyone who plans on attending one of these sessions is advised to check the library’s website for the latest details.
