It has been 40 years since “The Goonies” hit the big screen, and a Burbank event will celebrate this iconic film with a special activity.
The Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank will be offering a step back in time to the 1980s with an outdoor screening of this PG movie. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome, and along with the film, there will be lots more fun to be had.
The activity will kick off with food trucks, and live music supplied by Chester Copper Pot will keep everyone’s toes tapping. The MC from the evening will be Jena Nickerson, and the audience can show off their knowledge in a trivia contest. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the gate, and a special seating area will be provided for those who opt for a VIP pass. Separate blanket and chair seating areas will be set up.
When preparing for an event, organizers may find themselves in the market for specially designed materials. A poster printing company will be able to supply a variety of items that can be highly effective at promoting an occasion to the public.
The Saturday, June 7 installment of Street Food Cinema will get started at 6:00 pm. The movie will begin at 8:30 pm, and the venue can be found at 480 Riverside Drive in Burbank.
