Burbank area to hold howliday clinic for homeless pets

A Burbank area clinic will help make sure homeless pets are healthy next month.

The Holiday Clinic and Fair, sponsored by Inner City Law Center, will be for pets of homeless people, and an assortment of free services will be available at the function. It will be on offer on a pop-up basis, and each owner may bring up to two pets, with a first come, first served policy in place. All cats must be in carriers, and dogs need to be leashed at all times.

The activity will include the services of area veterinarians, and wellness exams, deworming, weigh-ins, vaccinations, and flea medications will all be supplied. Pet can also visit the spa station for some care, such as a nail trim and waterless bath, and guests can pick up their free bandana featuring a Pets Landing Logo Design.

While at the function, those who are homeless can access an assortment of vendor services, including a chance for a free consultation regarding the legalities of pet ownership and tenants’ rights. A photo booth and human health clinic will be onsite too.

This day of important care for Burbank area homeless pets will be making the “howlidays” happier on Saturday, December 9 at 1326 Industrial Street in Los Angeles. It will run from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
