What's Happening in Burbank, CA…

A festive wreath on the front door may be the final touch to holiday decorating, and Burbank residents will soon be able to craft one for themselves.

Descanso Gardens has offered the public an opportunity to reserve a seat in its wreath making class, which will take place at its location in La Cañada Flintridge. Both members and non-members are welcome to participate, and a discount will be available to anyone who currently holds a membership.

Those interested in the workshop will be able to choose from two different dates and times, and many of the materials used will be sourced on site. The materials to be used are included in the registration fee, and the class is open to anyone age 12 and up. Children need to have an adult attend with them. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated, so participants need to register in advance.

The skills and techniques taught in a holiday-themed crafting class may be used throughout the year to complete other projects. A flyer printing company will have lots of ways to get the word out about an upcoming activity.

Descanso Gardens will be offering this hands-on learning opportunity on the December 10 and 11 weekend. The start times are 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on both days, and it is anticipated that the tickets for the session will go quickly.
