Burbank area puts community fair together

A special day is on the way to the Burbank area, and it will help both people and pets to live healthier, happier lives.

A Pet Adoption and Community Health Fair has been scheduled to take place at the parking lot at Integrity College of Health. There will be lots of ways for the public to get involved, and a small business fair is included on its agenda.

The day will get started when the Red Cross Blood Mobile rolls in, giving members of the community an opportunity to become an everyday hero and maybe even save someone’s life. T’ena Health will be on hand offering blood pressure and glucose screening, free of charge. The Pasadena Humane Society has been invited to take part, and the public can meet some adoptable pets and learn more about how they can help.

As it will include information about programs offered by the college, those who are considering registering for a course may want to attend. Along with all the other activities in its lineup, the Fair will include a vendor area, and food may be purchased on site. Music will be playing, and all ages are invited. A poster printing company may be helpful in promoting such a function throughout a community.

This local celebration for both pets and people will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday, February 17. The organizers can be reached by phone at (626) 808-0215.
