The International Bird Rescue organization has put out an SOS (Save Our Seabirds) to Burbank and the surrounding area, and those who answer the call will be treated to a special event.
The group will be opening its doors for an open house-style event that will welcome the public. While they enjoy all that’s on offer, the attendees will have a chance to learn how their contribution to the cause will make an impact, and they will also be supporting a selection of small businesses.
The guests at the function will be able to choose their favorite fare from one of the food trucks that have been invited to take part, and live music performed by area artists. Art will be on display and available for purchase, and carnival style fun will be on offer for the kids. There will be details shared about how the group helps oiled, injured and orphaned pelicans and other water birds, and there are several ticketing tiers to choose from.
While kids are welcome to enter the celebration free of charge, their parents or guardians can purchase a swag bag of special Corporate Gifts. Both monetary and gifts in kind donations for draw prizes will be appreciated.
Burbank area seabirds will be benefiting from the first ever Taking Flight Open House Fall Festival on November 18th. It will begin at 11:00 am at 3601 South Gaffey Street in Los Angeles.
