The Downtown Burbank Arts Festival is taking place for a weekend this April. Presented by West Coast Artists, the event draws approximately 12,000 each year.
More than 100 artists are expected to be showcasing and selling their art during this juried art festival. The artists will be selling items such as sculptures, ceramic, handmade jewelry, stained glass, and watercolors on San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia and Olive Streets.
There will also be live musical entertainment over the weekend, chalk artists will be displaying their talents on the sidewalks, and many of the artists will be giving demonstrations in skills such as jewelry making, watercolors, and sculpture in wood. A special part of the festival will be dedicated to the CTN Animation Expo, which will feature items for sale from top animation and visual effects artists. This will take place between Magnolia and Angeleno Avenues
No doubt the event will draw plenty of residents to Downtown Burbank on an April weekend to check out what is available. Postcard printing companies are sure to be approached by some of the artists, because Postcards are often used as large format Business Cards by those in the art community.
