Brea toy fans will soon be able to get their geek on thanks to an upcoming local pop culture expo event.
The Holiday Inn La Mirada will be the place to be for area vintage toy fans. It will include special guests as well as vendors and other fun, and it will welcome all ages.
The Geekin Out show is being presented by Toy Depot, and it has been planned by collectors, for collectors. Everything from vintage action figures and other toys to collectible records, shoes, and sports cards will be included, with Pokémon cards also in the mix. There will be many items for sale in the pop-up market. Voice actor Larry Kenney and wrestler Sgt Slaughter will both be on hand to meet the crowd and pose for pictures.
Presale general admission tickets are $12.51 each, of which $10 is for the ticket and the rest is processing fees.
A comic or toy expo may give pop culture fans plenty to talk about, and provide fun for both kids and adults. A banner printing company can craft decorations ranging from welcome Banners and Signs to full-size stands and photo booth backdrops.
