Local families have already begun to prepare for this year's annual Brea Fest. This summer celebration will be taking place in August, and all proceeds will be donated to charitable Brea organizations.
Similar to previous festivals, this year's Brea Fest provides activities for all age groups. Children can participate in attractions such as face painting, balloon animal classes, or instead play in a bouncy house. This section of the event is known as "Kidsville", and it is being provided by the North Hills Church.
Live theater performances, shopping in an area known as "Market Row", and exhibitions by local artists will also provide additional Forms of entertainment for children and adults alike. Food and beverages supplied by Brea vendors are offered, although these will need to be purchased with the help of a ticket that can be obtained at the entrance. All proceeds from this year's Brea Fest will be allocated to local art venues including Brea Art Gallery, and the Curtis Theatre.
Note that Brea vendors are encouraged to participate. Those who wish to display their products and services should contact the event organizers in advance, as spaces may be limited.
Brea Fest is being held on Friday, August 8th between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM at the Civic & Cultural Center (1 Civic Center Circle). $4 tickets are available for those who want to obtain refreshments. More information can be obtained by visiting the official City of Brea Website, or calling 1 (714)-990-7600.
