Brea birders offered spot in upcoming outing

A bi-monthly bird walk that visits a Brea location will be heading out in mid-September, and it will give birders of all ability levels a chance to sharpen their skills.

The registrants in the Carbon Canyon Regional Park Bird Walk will be walking the venue’s trails on the lookout for some fine feathered friends, and they may even be able to spot a personal lifer. The attendees will be meeting up at the picnic tables set up by the entrance, and admission will be $5.00 for anyone who does not hold a park entry pass.

While they stroll the paths, the participants may be able to see and hear some of the more than 190 species of birds that have been spotted at the location. The park provides a variety of habitats, from woodland to coastal sage scrub, and there will be migrants on their way through to their southern homes.

Registering for an outing like this can be a good way for those who are new to a hobby to get their feet wet, and it may also be of interest to those with lots of experience. Handouts for an such activity can be prepared by a brochure printing company.

The Carbon Canyon Regional Park Bird Walk is scheduled for September 17th. It will head out from its meet-up point at 8:00 am. Participants will be expected to follow the organizer's code of birding ethics.
